ZONTA CLUB OF THE JOLIET AREA MEMBERSHIP PROCESS

1. Current Member nominates qualified potential member by filling out the New Member Nomination Form. Nomination Form is faxed or mailed to Membership Chair.
2. Membership Chair presents the Potential Member to the Board for approval.
3. After Board approval, letter of invitation is sent to the Potential Member
a. Copy of the letter is sent to the Nominating Member.
b. Membership Chair follows up with Potential Members
4. Attendance at Meeting as “Guest of Zonta Club”.
a. Membership Chair notifies Attendance Chair of number of guests to attend.
b. Following the meeting Membership Chair shares information about Zonta, including goals, service projects, and financial responsibilities with Potential Member.
5. Membership Chair follows up via letter or phone call with Potential Members. Potential Member joins Club and pays Dues.
6. Treasurer sends Transmittal Form to International with Membership Dues.
7. New Member information is shared with Yearbook Chair, Corresponding Secretary and Attendance Chair.
