Welcome to the Zonta Club of Joliet

Zonta Pres 201517 YoliThe Zonta Club of Joliet which was established in 1973 has been dedicated to improving the lives of women locally and globally through service, advocacy, and fundraising.

The Zonta Club of Joliet is a member of Zonta International – located in Oakbrook, Illinois. Founded in 1919 in New York, it has been committed to “empower women worldwide by improving the legal, political, economic, educational, health and professional status of women at the global and local levels through service and advocacy”. There are over 30,000 members in over 67 countries and we are proud to be a part of it.

Over the years our club has supported many organizations by having fundraising events for Guardian Angel Community Center, Habitat for Humanity, Prairie State Legal Services, and several others. We have supported women in their efforts to further their education by providing scholarships funds through the Jane M. Klausman, the Young Women in Public Affairs and through an endowment scholarship at Joliet Junior College.

The Zonta Club of Joliet is proud of its efforts in making a difference in the lives of women and our community. If you would like to be a part of this proud organization, please email Beth Colvin, Membership Chair at bclvn26@aol.com. We would love to hear from you.
